With recent events in Iran and the World Cup approaching, we decided to rethink representation on the Football pitch and developed a concept for a new Team Melli jersey; A jersey that truly represents our real Persian heritage.
This concept features a new Federation crest with thoughtfully selected elements, meaningful symbols and designs on the jersey, and the historic Lion and Sun flag, all symbols of our Persian heritage and history.
